SPC RAS has patented its unique methodology for vehicles sharing providing an automatic online search of drivers and pedestrians with similar routes, accounting, at that, for their interests (common topics for communication, music, etc.). The development is based on the application of heuristic algorithms for matching the paths and social network analysis technologies.
The methodology will be in demand for customers of car sharing services, where a possibility to share a car increases customer’s loyalty to the service due to the availability of transport and savings on trips by dividing their costs. Users ' mutual trust is ensured by their registration in the car-sharing service.
