St. Petersburg Federal Research Center
of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Doctor of Tech. Sci., Professor, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Head of Information Technologies in System Analysis and Modeling  Lab., SRC RAS Chief Researcher Boris V. Sokolov participated in a discussion on urgency of developing the State Information System “Objects of St. Petersburg Urban Environment” (SIS OUE) on the basis of "Certification of Site Improvement Objects " portal.

"Why was it dug up? When will they put it back to normal? Who is responsible for this digging up and burying? Who gave the order to chop down such trees? You can already have answers to all these questions through this portal."

"In the space sphere, there exists a sort of statement made by K. E. Tsiolkovsky: the rocket is not a goal in itself, the goal is to make common people lives better. To draw an analogy: the goal of this system is to improve the lives of common people; to give them a good chance not to worry, and same time to have full information about what is happening in their yard, in their street. And the most important is to find those “heroes” responsible for any disturbance should it happen.”
