Dr. V. N. Surovtsev V. N. , an Acting Director of IAERD – SPC RAS delivered a presentation at the Plenary Session of Agro-industrial Forum "MILK of RUSSIA – 2020"; the above presentation was prepared together with the IAERD – SPC RAS researchers Yu. N Nikulina. and E. N. Pauravas. The event was organized by "The Institute of Milk" and was held from October 21 -23, 2020 in Voronezh.
The Agro-industrial Forum "Milk of Russia" brought together over 400 participants like leaders of agricultural business, investors, innovators of agro-industrial complexes, agricultural producers from Russia, neighboring and distant foreign countries. The business program included presentations and discussions on the most relevant issues in the dairy industry, development prospects, threats and challenges facing agricultural producers and processing enterprises, as well as on various aspects of intra-industry and international cooperation and interaction between specialized research and educational institutions.
The business part of the Forum included plenary conferences and educational sessions on the main trends of the dairy industry: zootechnics; cow comfort; genetics; feed production; session "About People"; dairy session "About Cows"; session "Enterprise Management"; management; processing. The leading industry experts and owners, managers and specialists of leading enterprises and commercial organizations of the agro-industrial complex were among the forum speakers.
The profoundness and variety of presentations delivered at the educational sessions, their active and open discussion showed a high level of the Forum organization and its commitment to solving specific problems of the industry. Due to the relevant topics, the participation of experts and representatives of major companies and farms the II Agro-industrial Forum "Milk of Russia" was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere of open dialogue aimed at strengthening trust between agricultural producers, business representatives, investors, branch unions, Agro-industrial Complex management, specialized scientific and educational institutions, thus, fostering the further development of domestic dairy farming.
