This year the organizers of the international competitions in computer paralinguistics INTERSPEECH ComParE 2020 proposed three competitive areas:
1) Breathing - comparison between the signals from piezoelectric breathing belt mounted to the human chest and the human speech.
2) Elderly Emotion - recognition of elderly people emotions
3) Mask - detection of the medical mask presence on a speaker at speaking process
The team, comprising researchers from the SPC RAS Laboratory of speech and multimodal interfaces took the first places (awarded the first prizes) in the competition areas ##1&2, and the fourth place in the third area.
By the contests result the SPC RAS researchers published two articles in the Proceedings of INTERSPEECH 2020, ranked in the A*-level top-conferences:
