Chief Researcher of the SPC RAS Laboratory of Computer Security Problems Professor Igor V. Kotenko became one of the 2021 contest winners on activities:  "Research Based on the Existing World-class Scientific Infrastructure" of the Presidential Program of Research Projects https://rscf.ru/contests/search-projects/21-71-20078/. Grants are allocated for the implementation of scientific and research and technical projects in 2021-2024 based on the Existing World-class Scientific Infrastructure. Under the project: "Analytical Processing of Large Volumes of Heterogeneous Data about Events of Cybersecurity Intended for the State Assessment, Decision-making Support and Computer Incidents Investigation in Critical Infrastructures" under the leadership of I. V. Kotenko, it is expected to receive results applicable to the automated systems of critical objects, to the telecommunications sector, to the power ministries and departments, to the administrative and government structures.

"Supercomputer Center “Polytechnical”, established at SPbPU in 2012, serves as the infrastructure object for this project, developed in cooperation with highly qualified personnel in applications of Supercomputer Technologies at St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU).

The project is aimed at solving specific tasks within the framework of one of the priorities defined in the Strategy of Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation.
