SPC RAS does large-scale interdisciplinary research aimed at developing methods, algorithms and technical means for monitoring the state of ergate systems’ operators in the professional activity process.

One important result of the mentioned studies is the development of an appearance of device monitoring the ergate system’s operator state at executing certain professional activities oriented to such devices application to the system of psychophysiological support for operators’ simulator training.

Lately, SPC RAS received patents for the utility models of devices intended for monitoring the state of the ergate system’s operator under the impact of acoustic vibrations (utility model patent RU No. 202550), vibrations (utility model patent RU No. 202551), chemical factors (utility model patent RU No. 202552), hypoxic hypoxia (utility model patent RU No. 202553), aerobatic overload (utility model patent RU No. 202553), psycho-emotional stress (utility model patent RU No. 202632).

Utility models ensure integration in one device of registration blocks and indicators processing as necessary for monitoring the state of the ergate system’s operator in the activity course. This allows for real-time informing about the operator’s current psychophysiological state and the dynamics of its change, at that taking into account the current and predictive assessment of the operator's state in the ergate system control loop.

The research was done in accordance with the priority: "The Russian Society ability to effectively respond the major challenges with due account to the man – nature; man – technologies; social institutions interactions at the existing stage of global development, particularly, utilizing the methods of humanities and social sciences" of the Scientific and Technological Development Strategy of the Russian Federation.
