On May 20, 2021 Academician of RAS A.I.Kostyaev and Corresponding Member of RAS G.N.Nikonova took part in the Plenary Session of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Food Security: State, Problems and Solutions", held under the "Global Food Forum-2021" at the Institute for Strategic Studies of the Republic of Bashkortostan (Ufa), and delivered the following presentations "Key problems of food security in Russia" and "Prospects of involving the agricultural land into circulation".
The scientists from various Russia regions as well as from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan took part in the Forum. The Global Food Forum resulted in cooperation of the international community under an idea to identify and prevent internal and external threats to food security and call for new decisive actions aimed at changing the methods of food production and consumption in the World.
