On June 1, 2021, under the FAO auspices the world celebrates the twentieth World Milk Day. 

Currently, the Russian milk producers are actively increasing the production volumes, thus, solving the import substitution problems and providing population with high-quality and healthy dairy products. The SPC RAS (Center) staff members support the industry growth by developing models aimed at optimizing the intensity level and production scale at farms; the systems of economic measures to support the industry at the federal and regional levels, at that, accounting for the peculiarities of the Non-Black Earth region of Russia, and economically justify the development of organic milk production and fodder production, introduction of digital and biotechnologies into the industry.

As regards the above thematic area the Center has published a number of articles in high rated scientific journals. Up-to-date information about the research progress and results is posted in the industry leading Internet media: "The DairyNews" (https://www.dairynews.ru/authors/list/?author=152067).

From June 7 - 9, 2021, the First International Conference on Digitalization of Agriculture and Organic Production (ADOP 2021) will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, the Conference already drew a great interest from leading representatives of the dairy industry. The second day of the Conference will be focused on the innovative development of dairy farming (http://adop.nw.ru/).
