On May 22, 2022, the VI All-Russian semi- marathon "ZaBeg" was organized by the League of Heroes Team. "ZaBeg" unites generations of people in different cities of our country and promotes sports. The simultaneous semi - marathon was planned for 85 Russian cities spread over eleven time zones; a single start was launched for several thousand sport fans regardless of time zones — this is a Guinness World record set in 2020. The participants covered distances of one km, ten km and twenty one km.
SPC RAS has been represented at the start by: Dudakov Mikhail, Engineer of the Laboratory of Complex Problems of Limnology at IL RAS – SPC RAS (Mikhail Olegovich overcame the distance of twenty one km in 1 hour and 41 minutes); the distance of ten km was conquered by Ivanko Denis, Senior Researcher of Speech and Multimodal Interfaces Laboratory at SPC RAS, in 1 hour and 19 minutes; by Bash Polina, Junior Researcher of Laboratory of Full-Scale Ecological and Chemical Research at SRCES RAS – SPC RAS, in 1 hour 06 minutes 36 seconds; by Vitkova Lidiya, Senior Researcher of Computer Security Problems Laboratory at SPC RAS, in 1 hour 06 minutes 59 seconds (for Lydia this year “Zabeg.RF” became the third one in a row). The distance of one km was conquered by Astapova Marina, Junior Researcher of Big Data Technologies of Socio-Cyberphysical Systems Laboratory at SPC RAS, in 9 minutes and 42 seconds.
For Bash Polina and Astapova Marina it was their debut participation in the competition of the kind. Andrey Ronzhin, Director of SPC RAS, encouraged the athletes at the start in Novosibirsk.
