This year's conference was organized by Tsinghua University (Beijing, China) and the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS, St. Petersburg) together with Fuzhou University (Fuzhou, China), Gaitech Intelligence (Zoucheng, China), Shanghai Jiao Tong University Press (Shanghai, China) and Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technologies (Maoming, China). Honorary Chairmen of the conference were Hongqiao, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Igor Kalyaev, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Because of the ongoing epidemic of coronavirus infection in China, IR2022 was run in as a video conference via the Zoom cloud platform (over 100 connections).

During the conference, Russian and international scientists discussed the advances and technologies in robotics and man-machine interaction. The conference was attended by authors from three countries, the program committee approved 25 presentations for the conference program.

The proceedings of ICR 2022 were published prior to the conference by the publishing house Springer Nature in its series Lecture Notes in Computer Science / Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (v. 13719, https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-031-23609-9) and indexed by ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, Scopus и Springerlink data bases.

ICR 2022 was organized jointly with the 7th International Conference on Cognitive Systems and Information Processing (ICCSIP 2022): http://iccsip.fzu.edu.cn.

The 8th International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Robotics ICR 2023 is planned to be held in 2023 also in cooperation with foreign organizations: https://icr.nw.ru/.

Reference: The International Conference on Interactive Collaborative Robotics (ICR) was initiated as a part of the International Conference: “Speech and Computer (SPECOM)” in 2016. The purpose of the conference is to consolidate knowledge in the field of collaborative interaction between humans and robots in industry, medicine, education and other areas based on the important advantages of basic research and the best practices of technology companies.
