Major objective of the ADOP conference, organized by SPC RAS, is to consolidate interdisciplinary knowledge in agriculture, biology, robotics, information technologies and economics to solve urgent problems of digitalization of organic animal husbandry and crop production based on the advancements of basic science and best practices of agricultural companies.
Conference was attended by more than 150 participants from 11 countries and from over 20 subjects of the Russian Federation. The ADOP 2023 conference worked in a hybrid format – face-to-face at the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (over 40 participants) and in a videoconference format (over 100 connections).
Conference encompassed two plenary and six oral sessions, at that, there were delivered nine plenary presentations and 35 presentations at the oral sessions.
Accepted articles will be published in the proceedings "Agriculture Digitalization and Organic Production" in English in the Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies book series published by Springer, indexed in ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, Scopus and Springerlink.
On the days of scientific event, the ADOP 2023 venue also hosted an exhibition of robotic systems and unmanned aerial vehicles developed by SPC RAS professionals as part of interdisciplinary research on the digitalization of agricultural production.
ADOP conference has become traditional and appeared to be a useful source of new theoretical and practical information for researchers that allows for extending contacts between leading domestic and foreign scientists, colleagues, and with representatives of government bodies, industry unions, financial institutions, Russian agribusiness, and foreign companies.
