Presentations were delivered in regard to group management, optimization of the consumption of energy resources of robots, educational robotics, vision systems, application of the theory of proactive management, planning of collective actions in human-machine communities, as well as neural network prediction of the behavior of biological objects. The best practices of the journal "Informatics and Automation" were discussed at a round table concerning problems of publishing Russian journals, organized by the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Robotics and Mechatronics.
Within the conference, a meeting of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on Robotics and Mechatronics was held, there were presented new research in the marine robotics, including new solutions for underwater robot control systems, advancements of the E.S. Briskin leading scientific school on walking robots.
In total, over 300 scientists and professionals took part in the conference, including 14 academicians, 20 corresponding members from 5 thematic departments and three regional departments of the Russian Academy of Sciences, including the St. Petersburg Department of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
