Scientists of the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of RAS (SPC RAS) have developed an application intended to assist companies and recruitment specialists (HR) in improving the quality of interviewing the sales managers based on video interviews’ analysis. The application allows for recording a video interview, while the recording topics to be covered by an applicant are displayed on a screen, then the video is processed by a pre-trained neural network, and metrics are calculated that specify the applicant's ability to sell.
“The first results of processing several dozen interviews demonstrated a high similarity of the results produced by the here proposed application and the estimates of real HR specialists. However, an improvement of the program’s accuracy requires a significant increase in the amount of data set for neural networks training. This is why, right now the researchers are looking for potential partners in the further development and, prospectively, in the introduction of an automated decision support system for hiring salespeople,” explains Kennan Kassab, Junior Researcher of the Laboratory of Computer Aided Integrated Systems at SPC RAS.
Project was supported by a Grant of the Student Startup competition under the Federal Project “University Technology Entrepreneurship Platform".
