Researchers of the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS) jointly with colleagues from the Botanical Institute named after Komarov, the Nizhne-Svirsky State Reserve and a branch of the All-Russian Research Institute of Fisheries and Oceanography perform comprehensive monitoring of the state of the environment (composition of soils, water, biodiversity, etc.) in the Surgut district of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug at sites of the Surgutneftegaz group of fields – one of the largest Russian oil and gas companies.

A conference "Modern tendencies in the development of chemical technology, industrial ecology and ecological safety” planned from April 7-8, 2022.

The event was held jointly with the Ludwig Nobel Foundation and the Poghosyan, Hrachya Misakovich Charitable Foundation. The event was attended by the director of the SPC RAS A.L.Ronzhin, and the director of the Museum of Karl May School History N.V.Blagovo.

SPC RAS was actively involved in holding on its basis the online event in commemoration of the UN International Day. SPC RAS hosted the international conference "75 Years of the UN" — "Memory Dialogue".

The State Duma Deputy S.V.Yakhnyuk paid a visit to SPC RAS in order to be acquainted with information and analytical services based on the processing of geospatial data of aerospace imagery.

Staff member of North-West Centre of Interdisciplinary Researches of Problems of Food Maintenance (separate structural division of SRC RAS) Doctor of Biological Sci., Pofessor, Winner of the USSR Council of Ministers Award in Science and Technology Arkhipov Michael V. was rewarded with a gratitude for his activities at the election campaign as a part in “Staff of Public Support of A. Yu. Drozdenko as a candidate for a position of the Leningrad Region Governor”.
