On August 31, 2024 the International event "International Multidisciplinary Symposium “UN-COP29: Strengthening the role of world scientists in solving pressing problems of modern civilization. Environmental protection and green agenda” was held in Baku (Azerbaijan). At the Symposium Dr. Sergey V. Kholodkevich delivered an invited presentation entitled: "Monitoring the toxicity of natural and treated wastewater based on biomarkers of cardio-activity of river crayfish or shellfish".

25th Anniversary International Conference "Speech and Computer" SPECOM-2023 was held from November 29 to December 2, 2023. The conference was held in a hybrid format:face-to-face in Dharwad, Karnataka, India, as well as online. Three members of the Laboratory of Speech and Multimodal Interfaces at PC RAS took part in the arrangements for the conference and delivered presentations namely: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Chief Researcher Karpov, A.A.; Candidate of Technical Sciences, Senior Researcher Ivanko; D.V. and Candidate of Technical Sciences, Senior Researcher Kipyatkova, I.S.
Successful test flights of the drone were conducted in the Shimsky district on the territory of the agricultural cooperative "Oratai". Due to its application, potato tops were dried, which led to the drying of the aboveground part of the plants, thereby accelerating the maturation of tubers. This procedure accelerates the maturation of tubers, contributes to the thickening of the peel, brings the harvest closer and prolongs the shelf life, as well as prevents the spread of infections and the appearance of diseases such as late blight.
