On September 10, 2020 within the walls of SPC RAS was held a solemn celebration of the 200th anniversary from the day of birth of the founder and first Director of the educational institution - Karl Ivanovich May. SPC RAS Director Professor of RAS Andrey L. Ronzhin congratulated in person and extended his sincere gratitude to Nikita V. Blagovo (1949 alumnus) - founder and Director of Karl May School History Museum.

On August 28, 2020 a meeting led by the Novgorod Region Minister of Agriculture Ms. Elena Pokrovskaya was held between the SPC RAS Director Prof. Andrey Ronzhin and the leaders of Novgorod research and educational institutions. On August 29, 2020 the sixth International Military-Technical Forum "ARMY-2020", held on the premises of the Patriot exhibition center of the RF Ministry of Defense, has been over.
