Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences YUSUPOV, Rafael Midhatovich has passed away on November 7, 2024

On August 31, 2024 the International event "International Multidisciplinary Symposium “UN-COP29: Strengthening the role of world scientists in solving pressing problems of modern civilization. Environmental protection and green agenda” was held in Baku (Azerbaijan). At the Symposium Dr. Sergey V. Kholodkevich delivered an invited presentation entitled: "Monitoring the toxicity of natural and treated wastewater based on biomarkers of cardio-activity of river crayfish or shellfish".

On August 26, Nikolai Kolpakov, Rector of Altai SAU, and Andrey Ronzhin, Director of SPC RAS, signed an agreement on cooperation in scientific, educational and industrial fields in order to train highly qualified personnel and create competitive domestic technologies for the agro-industrial complex.

Scientific and educational resource “Pushkin Digital” is presented within the program of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2024). The team of developers is represented by : staff member of the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS) Nikolai Tesla. He spoke about the artificial intelligence based solutions that were implemented under of the project.

Joint research work of SPC RAS and Vietnam State Technical University named after Le Kui Don started ten years ago after the signing of a Cooperation Agreement in 2014. During 2018-2022, joint work was performed within the framework of Grants No. 21-57-54001 and 18-57-54002 with financial support from the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and the Vietnamese Academy of Sciences and Technology.

Sixth Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA-6) was held in a hybrid format from February 26 to March 01, 2024 at the headquarters of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Nairobi, Kenya.

Project was announced at a press conference of the St. Petersburg Regional Information Center TASS. Nikolai Tesla, Senior Researcher of the Laboratory of Integrated Automation Systems at St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS) spoke about the development of solutions for the project “Pushkin Digital” based on artificial intelligence.

SPC RAS took part in the "RUSSIAN MODERN AVIONICS – 2024" forum, held in St. Petersburg from April 26 - 27 on the basis of the First Cadet Corps Manege.

Sergey Kholodkevich, Chief Researcher of the Laboratory of Bioelectronic Methods of Geoecological Monitoring at the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS), made two presentations at Wenzhou University of China. His communications, in particular, considered methods cleaning the toxic cyanobacteria out of reservoirs.

St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS) and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Novgorod Region have signed a Cooperation Agreement. The document is aimed at introducing drones into the agro-industrial complex of the region to perform a wide range of tasks.
