Researchers of the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS) have trained artificial intelligence in identifying the groups of malicious bots in social networks using the analysis of public data about them, regardless the language they write posts and comments in. This approach can be implemented by companies that use social networks for commercial purposes to identify and counter information attacks.
Scientists of the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS) at the educational intensive "Archipelago 2121" being held in Veliky Novgorod, launched an installation representing the Center's developments in the field of agriculture. Visitors had a chance to see a"flowerbed" with highly effective fodder grasses, as well as a drone able to enhance the crops’ productivity with the help of a laser.
A scientist of the St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SPC RAS) has participated in the Novbiotech project, funded by the Innovations’ Promotion Foundation; within the project, was developed a prototype of a module for laser irradiation of agricultural land installed on an unmanned aerial vehicle (introduced at SPC RAS).Experiments on the use of such a system in treatment of perennial grasses forming animals’ feed have demonstrated a substantial increase in the productivity of some agricultural crops.
